Junior Salon Receptionist
Casual Position

Key roles and responsibilities includes:
- Answering the phone and taking bookings
- Process points of sale
- Take interest in customers by welcoming and greeting clients and getting the treatments ready for the technician
- Provide advice / recommendations to clients regarding all treatments in the salon
- Develop relationships with clients to encourage repeat nail appointments.
- Partake in the regular filming and production of the day-to-day operations for social media posting.
- Consult with clients on various nail designs and nail art to clients which are in line with current trends.
- Carry out regular QA of peers works to ensure that quality and standards are consistently maintained and not compromised.
- Ensure that workstations and surrounding salon areas are always kept clean and orderly.
- Ensure that supplies are adequately stocked.
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and appropriately sanitized
- Continually strive to update and familiarize yourself, with the support of the salon, new techniques, products and fashion trends.
The applicant MUST possess an extremely high standard of personal presentation, professionalism and interpersonal skills. Some experience in the nail industry is preferred however not essential.
The position is available between 2-5 days per week. The pay rate is negotiable based on experience.
